The THMPR is modeled and animated, now we are into the second part of the goal, which is modeling the Omniframe. Joe has been working on this and will be streaming his progress this Sunday from 5pM to 8PM. I’ll also be there!

THMPR 3D prints are around 50% complete (we’ve printed 30 of them) and assembly has begun. We had a nozzle clog and filament issues that kept the printer down for almost four days before we resolved it. The Zortrax is a trooper of a printer, and we’ve logged over 540 hours on it so far. We’ve also found a way to add a nice stand to the models with copper and wood. The stands make a nice addition.
Terrain textures did not work out as well in-engine as hoped. I am revisiting them and tuning them so they look good in game. I have high standards, and I want to make sure the terrain textures match those standards.
That’s it for this weeks update. Some setbacks and some progress, and a major step coming up with the Omniframe modeling. See you on Sunday!
