Here we go! We just got the first batch of animations in for the THMPR needed for the art demo. These were done by hand in Maya by our new talented team members: Homonz! and Mihu. “Myles” worked on Gears of War 4, and did all the animations you see here. Mihu is our rigger, and has worked on games such as the PS4 version of Shadow of the Beast.
This completes the basic animation set of the THMPR. We’ll do some final tweaks and add an animation for the dropping of the THMPR that backers will be able to trigger in the art demo exe. Next up is our test terrain and skybox, then importing the animations into Unreal and wiring everything together.
